A Checklist for International Moves

As I mentioned in an earlier post, my sister and her husband are on their way to Mexico, driving with their two dogs, one cat and a car-full of their worldly possessions.

They've been hit by Karl (the hurricane), given wrong directions several times and are having a difficult time finding pet-friendly accommodation despite hotel websites claiming they love dogs. Of course, this is just the start of their international story.

For anyone contemplating a move overseas, use this checklist as a guide to help you through a complicated move. It might not be able to predict Karl, but it will ensure you're thinking of all the possible pitfalls!
